Jr. NTR's Shakti starts rolling in Jaipur

The regular shooting of director Mehar Ramesh's forthcoming big budget extravaganza Shakti, produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayathi Movies with Jr. NTR and Ileana in the lead, starts at Jaipur from February 6. The makers, consisting of 300 unit members, will shoot a song and a few vital scenes in this 15 days schedule. The film was recently launched at the Golf Club, Gachibowli, Hyderabad. After Krishnavamsi's Rakhi, this is the second time Ileana is pairing up with NTR. This is also Mehar Ramesh's second film with NTR after Kantri under the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies. Apart from Jaipur, Shakti will also be shot in Kashmir, Delhi, Agra, Hampi, Mysore, Egypt, London and other foreign locations. Sameer Reddy handles the camera. Music is by Mani Sharma.

Shakti completes Kulu Manali schedule

 Kantri fame Mehar Ramesh's second film with young tiger Jr. NTR, Shakti, has completed its schedule in Kulu Manali. Producer C. Aswini Dutt of Vijayanthi Movies said the unit has just concluded a hectic North Indian schedule, where the film was shot continuously for one month in locations like Ladakh, Kulu Manali, Haridwar, Hrishikesh and Kashmir border. In this schedule, we have picturised a song on Jr. NTR and Ileana, besides some key scenes. We will commence the next schedule from August 27 in Hyderabad, he added. 

Shakti progressing in Haridwar

    After completing its shooting schedule in Manali, the unit members of Jr. NTR's Mehar Ramesh directed Shakti, produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayathi Movies, has begun a new schedule in Haridwar on Tuesday. After canning a few vital sequences, the unit would return to Hyderabad on August 5. Illeana is the heroine, while Puja Bedi plays an Egyptian. The film has music by Mani Sharma, cinematography is by Sameer Reddy and story is by Yandamuri Veerendranath and J.K. Bharavi.

It is said that Shakti is being shot with highest technical standards. Apart from Hyderabad, Shakti is will also be shot in Jaipur, Kashmir, Delhi, Agra, Hampi, Mysore, Egypt, London and other foreign locations. Produced by Ashwini Dutt under the banner of Vyjayathi Movies, Shakti is expected to grace the screens in December. Ileana is the heroine.
